In 2016 I sort of fell backward into a fun idea for a middle-grade fantasy novel, and it got most of my time and effort for the next three years. I even had it in contention for a contract at a preferred publisher. They passed, which sucked, but hindsight being what it is, I’m glad they did.
I still want to do this book…eventually. Right now I have several things ahead of it on the docket. BUT I figured I would blow the dust off of it and post it here, chapter by chapter, along with my thoughts and plans for an improved version in the future.
The chapters and annotations will be available to paid subscribers only, so consider backing the CrackerStack if you want to see what this process looks like.
